What it does

Obsidian Vaults is a small dark-mode launcher for Windows. It reads the vaults already registered in Obsidian and lets you jump to any of them with one click (or keys 1–9).

Windows SmartScreen: Because this free tool is not code-signed, Windows may say “Windows protected your PC.” Click More info, then Run anyway. That is normal for small free software from independent authors.

Install

Download ObsidianVaults-Setup-1.0.0.exe
If Windows blocks it: Properties → Unblock (if shown), then run
Install per-user (no admin password needed)
Launch and click a vault — Obsidian opens it

Privacy

The app only reads Obsidian’s local config (%APPDATA%\obsidian\obsidian.json) and launches Obsidian on your machine. Nothing is uploaded. No accounts.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11
Obsidian installed and at least one vault opened once
No Python or .NET SDK needed for the installer build
